the challenge. One billion valentines are sent each year, making the day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year, after Christmas. Minted is seeking fresh designs for Valentine’s cards for children to pass out at school or a Valentine’s Day photo card for families who didn’t have the chance to send out a holiday card.
the prize. The top 3 designs as voted by our community will win cash prizes, with $500 for 1st place, $250 for both 2nd and 3rd places, and $100 for 4th through 10th places. Guest Judge Michele Bell, of the beloved children’s blog LilSugar (www.lilsugar.com), will award one $100 judge’s prize and will blog about her favorite designs from this challenge! The top 10 designs will be sold on Minted.com, with those designers receiving 5% of net sales of the products sold, in addition to the cash prizes. Minted reserves the right to select additional designs for sale, with those designers receiving $100, plus 5% of net sales. In addition, Minted commissions follow-on designs from designers who regularly enter our challenges and receive high scores.
